James G. Vickaryous has spent three decades in the courtrooms and negotiation rooms of Florida, representing individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries at the hands of others. His practice is built on one principle: aggressive, personalized advocacy that treats every client as a person — not a case number.
A graduate of the University of Miami (full U.S. Army ROTC scholarship) and Stetson University College of Law (JD + MBA), Mr. Vickaryous brings both academic excellence and real-world military discipline to his legal practice. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve, earning the NATO Medal for Service in the former Yugoslavia and the U.S. Army Meritorious Service Medal.
He currently serves on The Florida Bar Board of Governors, representing more than 2,400 lawyers in Seminole and Brevard Counties (18th Judicial Circuit) — a distinction that reflects both his legal standing and his commitment to the profession.
His courtroom record includes the highest jury verdict in Seminole County for a head injury causing a debilitating migraine.
